| Agastache pringlei is an erect perennial with
toothed, heart-shaped, licorice scented green
leaves. It bears whorled spikes of pink tubular
flowers in the summer and requires a moderately
fertile, well drained soil. It is a native of
Chihuahua, Mexico and will do well anywhere
in the USDA Zones 7-9. It will reach an average
height of 36" (90cm) and width of 24" (60cm).
It should be overwintered in a greenhouse or
grown in pots which can be moved indoors
during the winter, as it is not cold tolerant. |
