Agastache scrophulariifolia
Purple Giant Hyssop
Agastache scrophulariifolia or purple giant hyssop is an erect
bushy perennial with ovate to ovate-lance shaped conspicuously hairy leaves.
The branching stems bear spikes of pinkish purple flowers from mid-summer -
early autumn. This specie originates in China and should be grown in well
drained, fertile soil. At maturity it can be expected to attain a height of
4'(1.2m) and a width of 18" (45cm). This plant is rated for USDA Zones 7-11.

Agastache scrophulariifolia 'Premium Blue',
is an erect perennial with fragrant foliage and spikes of tubular blue
flowers. It will attain a height of 36"(90cm) when grown in moderately
fertile soil with good drainage and full sun. The blooming period for this
cultivar is early to late summer. It does well in beds or borders or as a
vertical accent plant in a contrainer, and is a great hummingbird attractor.
