Agastache wrightii is an erect perennial with small flowers and a calyx tube which is less than 3mm long. It has thick leaves which do not wrinkle upon drying and average 1.5"-2" in length. It does well in moderately fertile, well drained soil and full sun, and is rated for USDA Zones 7-11. Its natural distribution is central Arizona to southwestern New Mexico , and northeastern Sonora and extreme west-central Chihuahua.
